PE is a thermoplastic used in a wide variety of products. During plastic production, ETHYLENE, produced by distillation of crude oil, undergoes a series of chemical processes to produce ETHYLENE MONOMER.
HDPE pipes manufactured with PE 100 raw material withstand higher pressures than pipes manufactured with traditional PE raw materials. The upper water pressure limit of 16 bar has reached 32 bar in pipes manufactured with PE 100 raw material. Thus, they have begun to replace traditional pipes (steel, cast iron, ductile iron, etc.) in water transfer mains.
PE100 pipes up to 125 mm in diameter are produced in coils or, upon request, in straight pipes of 6, 12, and 13.5 meters; for diameters over 125 mm, they are produced in straight pipes of 6, 12, and 13.5 meters only. Custom sizes are also available upon customer request.
